Sometimes it's amazing how quickly things can turn around; publisher NHN's hybrid MMO/FPS Huxley: The Dystopia had all but disappeared from nearly everyone's radar until GDC less than two months ago, and now it's preparing for closed beta testing in the States.

Signups for the Huxley beta went live on NHN's gaming portal ijji today, along with new videos, forums, and more. Testing for the Unreal Engine 3 online shooter is scheduled to occur from June 3 until June 14, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. PDT..

From the look of things, not only is Huxley defying expectations by actually coming out, but it's probably going to arrive sooner rather than later. Who would have guessed?
